    • Manna House

HOPE on WHEELS is a Leadership Class 27 project where we have teamed with Manna House to help end child hunger in Huntsville/Madison County.  There are 15,000 children throughout our community that are struggling with hunger.

Our project is to purchase a food trailer for Manna House.  This will allow Manna House to serve hot meals to those children that would not otherwise have a hot meal over the weekend and many that would not even receive a meal.

We need to raise $15,000 combined with the $5,000 that Manna House has set aside for this project to purchase a used food trailer.  This trailer would also be used for serving meals in our community for disaster relief as was greatly needed during the tornadoes of 2011.

While this alone will not end child hunger, it is one step in that direction.  Please consider this great cause.  Most all of us can spare $5 or $10, the cost of one lunch.  You might even consider giving the equivalent of what you would spend feeding your family dinner at a restaurant.  One dinner is a small price to pay if it will provide a hot meal for children that would not otherwise have a hot meal.  Please help us end child hunger.

Leadership Huntsville/Madison  County and Manna House  are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations making your donation tax deductible.   Thank you for your consideration!
